Lock Poker.com, an online poker site on the Cake Poker network claimed this week that is the first on the network to offer players new Mac poker software.
The Mac-based poker client offers the same features and gameplay as the PC version with Play and Real money games, including ring games, Satellites, MTT’s and Sit ‘n Go’s. Players can also enjoy player-to-player chat, table resizing, and multi-table play.
“One of our mandates as a company is to provide a superior online poker experience. It only makes sense that we would extend our product to the Mac platform — as Apple is a leader in innovation and customer experience.” says Jennifer Larson, CEO of Lock Poker.
Lock Poker allows poker players to experience the innovative download software without a third-party application for a more stable and smoothly running game.
Mike Sexton Belongs in Poker Hall of Fame – PartyPoker.com
May 28, 2009 | Comments Off
PartyPoker has begun lobbying for Mike Sexton, an ambassador for PartyPoker as well as the host of the World Poker Tour. PartyPoker would like to see Sexton added to the list of those to be considered for induction to the Poker Hall of Fame.
Sexton has a good chance of being placed on the list as he meets the requirements needed to be added to the induction list. He recently finished hosting the seventh season of the World Poker Tour which he has been with since the very first season. He also has a WSOP bracelet and is in the top ten players who have earned the most cashes during the World Series of Poker.
PartyPoker recently re-signed Sexton to their site and he is now the ambassador for the online poker room. The fourth largest online poker room would love to see their ambassador added to the list of poker pros that have been added to the Hall of Fame.
A spokesman for PartyPoker reiterated that they would like to see the poker community vote for Sexton. The spokesman stated: “We encourage the poker community to vote online for Mike Sexton’s induction into poker’s hall of fame. Mike famously said that poker takes five minutes to learn and a lifetime to master- it takes five minutes to vote and mark the lifetime achievement of the master! Mike meets all the criteria and deserves to be top of the list when the process gets to the Hall of Fame committee.”
