PartyPoker Summary
PartyPoker was the not the first online poker room but it was the biggest. Prior to the UIGEA, PartyPoker boasted some of the largest levels of traffic around. Now that PartyPoker no longer accepts American players, traffic has died down significantly. However, that does not mean that PartyPoker is dead. With increased marketing efforts to other parts of the world, PartyPoker still maintains a very busy online poker room. The software leaves much to be desired but the tournament action is top-notch.
Bottom line, PartyPoker is here to stay but needs to update their software to stay at the leading edge of the online poker game.

Party Poker is the very first online poker room that I even played. This is where I made my first deposit and is also home to many of my baddest beats. Finally, I’m not a big fan of Party Poker’s lobby. They just did a big software update and I really wish they would have added some flop percentages to the tables in the lobby or something that would give me an indication of how loose the table is. But hey, I’m just picky, right?
